Sleepy Head

What does a baby do after sleeping the whole night ?

Take a nap in the morning.......

And then nap again in the afternoon......

Talk to Daddy for a little bit when he gets home from work and then .....

Go back to sleep !!!!

He has slept from about 8pm to 6am for the past two nights, which is great and I am not complaining just felt like he slept most of today, though we listened to some music and chatted abit this morning, time is flying by so fast I look again and the day is over so even when we are home alone and Craig goes to work it seems like no time till Dads home again and Joshua loves to chat with his Dad, All these moments are just so precious I want to be holding the camera and video camera the whole day to catch all the little sounds and facial expressions. Even when he is fast asleep he is being cute.

A Busy Day

If we had to put 10 rand in a tin for every pic we take of our little guy, he will have a very healthy bank account one day. As it is the daily uploads are costing a small fortunes but worth every penny I think and we can't help ourselves since he is just the cutest and everyday seems to get cuter and cuter. He is discovering his voice now and starting to make different noises so we will be hauling the camcorder out of the drawers soon aswell, must remember to put dvd's on next shopping list. He gets this real surprised look on his face everytime he manages to get out a different sound and if we react to the sound he grins away proudly. I cannot wait for the giggling to start !!

He is growing so fast it's very hard to beleive but for the moment he still has a few toys that are bigger than he is, Like Ernie here and Eehaw the donkey.

I Can Do It !!

Some more pics of our little guy trying to do everything himself already, Seems he has decided this bottle holding thing is just a doddle and standing up well whats all the fuss about, Just need Dad to give him a bit of a boost and then standby for short rest periods.

OUR LITTLE MONKEY

MOM AND DAD ARE JUST SO HAPPY WITH JOSHUA AND THE PROGRESS HE IS MAKING,HE IS STARTING TO HOLD HIS OWN BOTTLE,NOT FOR LONG THOUGH,HE LIKES STANDING AND WANTS TO WALK ALREADY,DAD HOLDS HIM AND HE JUST STANDS UP ON HIS OWN,A LITTLE BIT WOBBLY,BUT HE IS GETTING THE HANG OF IT.

HE HAS ALSO STARTED TALKING TO MOM AND DAD WHICH MAKES ME WANT TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH HIM SO I DONT MISS OUT ON HIS FIRST WORD WHICH IS HOPEFULLY "DAD",WE JUST HOPE IT DOES NOT START WITH "F".

HE HAS THUS FAR BEEN A JOY TO HAVE AROUND EXEPT FOR THOSE FARTS HE PASSESS MORE FREQUENTLY,SMELLS JUST LIKE MOM,WHAT A LITTLE RIPPER.

HE SLEEPS THROUGH THE NIGHT SO MOM AND DAD DO GET SLEEP,WE HOPE THERE ARE NO DRASTIC CHANGES IN HIS SLEEPING HABBITS.

WELL ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT NIX AND I ARE JUST SO PROUD OF OUR LITTLE SHINNING STAR AND WE LOVE HIM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH.

Two Months Today !!!

Can you beleive our baby is TWO MONTHS old already !!!

Went to the Storks Nest today and got weighed and measured, the little guy is growing like a weed.

Weight 5.31 kgs, Height 60 cm (two rulers high WOW !!!)

To our darling little Joshua"You are going to take great strides on this earth, and with every step you will change the world". We beleive this about you because you have already changed our world.

Funny Faces

Time is flying by and its hard to beleive our little guy is almost 2 months old. Here are some funny faces we caught on camera trying to catch one of his cute smiles, unfortunatley he was not falling for any tricks but he is smiling more and more so we will catch him eventually. Got to cut the commentary short though because he is as I type waking up and giving me that look, like hey who said you could move away from me and try to do anything other than hold me and feed me, so get back to your post mother !!!
