A New Chapter in our Life.
Well what can we say, totally unexpected, but yet I am totally looking forward to your arrival next year April or May 2014.
Me personally would love a Girl, Which I`m almost certain would also suite Nix, but Joshua on the other hand wants a Brother so he can play soccer and rugby with him, a Girl is a no no for him, because everybody will laugh at him,LOL.
Joshua is none the less very excited about the arrival of his new sibling and was telling everybody he could before we could spill the beans.
I Just suppose we must take what we get and so be it. This will be the 10th Grandchild for Albert and Daphne Dell and the 8th for Jennifer and Brian Abbott.
Can`t believe our first little Monkey Joshua will be 5 on 19 November 2013.
I suppose time flies when your having fun, has not been easy but I feel we are getting there in raising a well mannered child, yes he has his moments mostly when he gets tired, so which child does not.
Cant believe I have not updated the blog for almost 2 years or it could be more than 2 years since my last post. Not very proud of this but its been well over 2 years and well over due to update my blog.
Yes as I said before the Monkey has grown up and sometimes tickles me pink with the things he comes out with, such as kissing and hugging me over the phone, I still make my regular calls at around 20:00 on each of my night shifts and sometimes during the day when I`m working weekends, sometimes its just a hello Dad and Ok bye Love you Dad conversation which ends in " Here talk to my Mom". Some times he just wants to talk and talk to his dad, its not always easy for me to say good bye in the morning and then only see him the next morning, 24 hours apart is way to long, but then the hugs and kisses make it well worth the wait.
I sometimes go through my photos on my phone or laptop and most of the time I find myself smiling away.
Nix and I sometimes think we raising a little monster, as we spoil him a lot and buy him the odd toy, he loves his Lego and Hot Wheels cars, but I just feel that if not why not, we just don't do it to keep him busy or quiet, but we also try teach him that receiving toys and sweets and things depends on his behaviour and he must see them as rewards for being good.
